Faster-than-light speed is reached on an experimental flight in a new
Hyperion spacecraft piloted by Capts. Graydon and Griff. The moment they reach the super
speed, the ship disappears from all of Starlab's scanner screens. Finding themselves in
uncharted space on the other side of the warp-through, they land on the water world planet
Shakosha and soon discover that as they reached FTL, they and the ship shrank to the size
of an atom. Their escape from the dilemma takes them to the limits of their wits and
