On the return trip from Timaian-3 with Professor Logan Starsmith in their
protective custody, Graydon and Griff take their ship past faster-than-light speed and
warp through the time/space continiuum. Only then, they discover that Starsmith’s body has
been invaded by an alien . . . An alien who is gravely affected by the rapid acceleration.
